Attacking Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his comments regarding Indian democracy in London, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday termed him as the 'Mir Jafar' of current Indian politics. Along with this, BJP has said that he will have to apologize for his statements. Addressing reporters here, BJP National Spokesperson Sambit Patra said, "What Mir Jafar did to become the Nawab and what Rahul Gandhi did in London are exactly the same."
लंदन में भारतीय लोकतंत्र के संबंध में की गई टिप्पणियों के लिए कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी (Rahul Gandhi) पर हमलावर भारतीय जनता पार्टी (BJP) ने मंगलवार को उन्हें मौजूदा भारतीय राजनीति का ‘मीर जाफर’ करार दिया है. इसके साथ ही BJP ने कहा है कि उन्हें अपने बयानों के लिए माफी मांगनी ही होगी. भाजपा के राष्ट्रीय प्रवक्ता (BJP National Spokesperson) संबित पात्रा (Sambit Patra) ने यहां संवाददाताओं को संबोधित करते हुए कहा, ‘मीर जाफर ने जो किया था नवाब बनने के लिए और जो राहुल गांधी ने लंदन में किया है वह बिल्कुल वही है.’
