Hi guys,
It was a friend’s wedding 1600 Km away from our city and due to circumstances we were left with only one option in order to attend his wedding and that was by road. We took our car and left for Allahabad from kolkata.
Day 1 we traveled from Kolkata to Varanasi, which took us around 15 hours.
Day 2 we started for Allahabad and 2.5 hours drive turned into a nightmarishly 5 hours.
Day 3 we had to return to our origin and we decided to drive half way through to Bodhgaya. Which is again 8.5 hours drive
Day 4 We travelled from Bodhgaya to kolkata which again took us almost 10 hours.
We were continuously on road for 4 days with little time to explore around. At the end of the trip we were extremely tired with unfulfilled desire to explore the places we just had a glimpse of.
Pro tip: Always have time in hand when planning a road trip.
