American professional eater Randy Santel versus Brogrillen's 3kg (6.5lbs) "OMG" Swedish Tunnbrödsrulle Flatbread Sausage Wrap Challenge hosted by Brogrillen in Bro, Sweden of Scandinavia!! Katina and I went on a @costsavertours "Highlights of Scandinavia" Bus Tour with my mom and sister, which included many stops in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. It started in Copenhagen, Denmark and ended in Stockholm, Sweden. @KatinaEatsKilos and I took a few days off and then attempted six Swedish competitive eating restaurant food challenges around Sweden of Scandinavia. For man vs food challenge #1 of six, we headed from Stockholm to Brogrillen in Bro, Sweden, so we could each attempt Brogrillen's 3kg (6.5lbs) "OMG" Swedish Tunnbrödsrulle Flatbread Sausage Wrap Street Food Challenge. Tunnbrödsrulle translates to "thin bread roll" and is a tasty, traditional Swedish street food, typically made with sausages, mashed potatoes, shrimp salad with lots of mayonnaise, some healthy vegetables, and more if interested. Translated in English, it's more of a Swedish flatbread wrap. I had just 46 minutes to feast on 20 long Swedish sausages, plus over 1kg (2.2lbs) of homemade creamy mashed potatoes, lots of shrimp salad, and there was also lettuce and tomatoes. 47 people had previously failed this 6.5lb "O.M.G." Sausage Wrap Challenge, and only 4 people had been able to finish everything within the 46 minute time limit. I was trying to become just the fifth champion to win my 500 SEK (~$48.00 USD) Swedish street food meal free plus some ice cream and a spot on Brogrillen's Wall of Fame!! BIG thanks to everyone with Brogrillen in central Bro, Sweden for the wonderful food, drinks, ice cream dessert, and hospitality!! Special thanks also to all our amazing Swedish friends who came up that Thursday evening to watch and meet us!! We appreciate everyone in the Bro / Stockholm area and all around Sweden who watches videos and supports our hard efforts!!
