The 35-year-old Larry Bird didn't get to the basket on this night at all against a young and athletic Los Angeles Clippers front-line. For that reason, Bird had to stick with his outside shot as he attempted nine 3-pointers (he made three of them) through the course of this game. The final bomb from long range (at 3:14) was the final nail in the coffin and his opponent Ken Bannister admitted defeat by responding to Larry's high-five. March 8, 1991.
