Boro were patient though and after some extended pressure on The (real) Magpies goal, their Brazilian defensive midfielder Doriva fired home the equaliser. Shortly afterwards, JDJ killed off County with a sharp finish to set a 4th round tie against Man Utd at Old Trafford.
