Citizen Science Under the Sea
This event is part of CitSciCon, a first-of-its-kind online event series that invites everyone, everywhere to discover fun and important ways to help NASA do authentic research with citizen science projects. A dozen sessions provide recipes to prepare for, participate in, and expand engagement in authentic NASA science.

Earth is a planet, too, and most of it is covered in oceans. Learn about the ways NASA is enlisting citizen scientists to help study marine ecosystems from the poles to the tropics. From monitoring Giant Kelp forests from space to taking real-life trips to Antarctica, researchers will discuss all the ways volunteers are pitching in to study the oceans of our home world.
