It is finally time that old #12 returns to service. During the recent quarantine months it got rebuilt with Soundtraxx Tsunami2 DCC and AirWire Convertr controls. Here it's seen on the last train of the evening crossing the long scratch-built trestle. The coaches behind are kit-bashed from Bachmann kits, stretched to prototypical length, and custom painted. This entire train was kit-bashed in the early 1990's. I have selected the individual sounds using the Tsunami2, and in this case am using a Colorado & Southern (C&S) 3-chime whistle. "Our" story of Mogul 12 is that it started out for the C&S before being bought secondhand by the Watchung Valley Railroad.
