ETS 2 News: 1.53 Update Open Beta

The 1.53 Open Beta for Euro Truck Simulator 2 is now available, bringing several major updates. The Germany Rework introduces fully revamped cities, including Munich, Mannheim, Leipzig, Dresden, and Berlin, with new industries, landmarks, and improved road networks. The Volvo FH Series 4 truck has also been reworked with enhanced exterior details, improved interiors, and updated textures using CAD data. The Volvo FH Tuning Pack received upgrades, and a special 25th Anniversary livery is now available.

New quality-of-life features include visual indicators showing when settings are changed from default values and a Smooth and Auto Camera Centering option, with adjustable speed and delay settings. Players can test these changes via Steam’s public_beta branch and report bugs on the forum to help polish the final release.
