The National Art Center Tokyo (NACT) by the late architect Kisho Kurokawa, which opened in 2007, is located in the Roppongi district of Tokyo. It consists of a ground floor and two upper floors with several exhibition halls, a courtyard, an art library, and an auditorium. The NACT has the largest exhibition space in Japan. Not only the art, but also the architecture makes the National Art Center a magnet for visitors. The undulating glass facade alone is an eye-catcher. Inside, the ground floor features a soaring two-story space. At its center are two inverted concrete cones that form the foundation for a café and restaurant. From the upper floor, the view of the circular café resembles a spaceship from a science fiction movie. The café has also become internationally known since it appeared in the popular anime "Your Name" by Makoto Shinkai.
Technical infos: This film was shot with the DJI Pocket 3.
