The range of premium hybrid WEY crossovers is expanding. The new flagship WEY 07 embodies high-class comfort and advanced technologies, combining a spacious interior with a full third row of seats and a hybrid power plant, made according to the scheme of a plug-in hybrid PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) with the ability to recharge from the network.
A distinctive feature of the all-wheel drive WEY 07 crossover is a high-tech hybrid power plant, consisting of a gasoline turbo engine with a displacement of 1.5 liters and a capacity of 150 hp and two electric motors with a capacity of 95 and 109 hp (taking into account the indicators of the maximum 30-minute power of the engines). At peak output (simultaneous operation of the engine and electric motors), the car produces 517 hp and an impressive 930 Nm of torque. The WEY 07 architecture is implemented according to the parallel hybrid scheme, when the internal combustion engine is not only a source of energy for rotating the generator, but also independently transmits torque to the front axle. The highly efficient power plant provides acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.9 s and develops a maximum speed of 190 km / h. Combined fuel consumption with a fully charged battery is only 0.7 l / 100 km according to the NEDC cycle, with a discharged one - 6.3 l / 100 km. Thus, the WEY 07 hybrid architecture has a number of advantages: the total power of two electric motors and the internal combustion engine, together with the rapid transmission of torque to the wheels, provide dynamic acceleration at any speed; driving on electric traction at low speeds reduces the level of noise and vibration of the body; the recuperation function and the ability to drive only on electric traction provide economical consumption.
The front electric motor is integrated into the two-stage transmission and is located under the hood of the car. The second electric motor is installed on the rear axle of the car and, depending on speed, road or weather conditions, ensures the connection of the all-wheel drive mode. The capacity of the lithium-ion battery, developed by the Chinese company CATL, is 42.5 kW h, the range on the electric motor without recharging is 201 km (according to the NEDC cycle). The maximum range in combined mode is 1140 km (according to the NEDC cycle). Fast charging of the battery using the GB / T port (0-80%) takes up to 25 minutes, slow charging (0% -100%) takes about 6 hours 30 minutes.
