In March 2019, the DHS Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) hosted the 2019 S&T Cybersecurity and Innovation Showcase, the federal government’s largest cybersecurity R&D and innovation conference. The three day conference introduced its funded research projects to government, industry investors, and other potential market transition partners.
The conference theme, Solutions Now, Innovations for the Future, highlighted S&T’s support to DHS operational components and engagement with stakeholders on the importance of cybersecurity research and development in this aggressive threat landscape.
In this video, a panel discussion about the future of cybersecurity features National Security Agency Research Director Deborah Frincke, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s Martin Gross, and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Professor Michael Reiter. The panel is moderated by Bloomberg’s Michaela Ross.
