Hey Beginner! Welcome to the Let’s Excel channel! In today’s video I’m going to show you how to use one of my FAVORITE functions in Microsoft EXCEL: XLOOKUP. XLOOKUP, available with the introduction of Office 365, is similar to VLOOKUPin Excel but sooooo much simpler. As someone who used to use VLOOKUP on a daily (if not hourly) basis, I can tell you that XLOOKUP is the future. XLOOKUP, simply put, is a function to look up one value (or cell) and return corresponding values (or cells) from a dataset, either vertically or horizontally. First, all you need is your lookup value, the column or row that you want to find the name in, and the column or row with the data that you want to return. It’s that SIMPLE!
