A good day for Nasser-Al Attiyah and Mathieu Baumel! With a P2-position in stage 4, they strengthen their second position in the general classification. But there was more success, with Giniel de Villiers and Alex Haro today at seven and Bernhard ten Brinke and Tom Colsoul in eighth place of today’s result. At the new, mandatory 15-minute break for the fuel stop, Ten Brinke was one of the fastest of all rankings. Fernando Alonso today went a little less fast than yesterday, but with a thirteenth place every other rookie would be more than satisfied!
