The 142 metre high EDGE East Side Tower with over 65,000 m² of office space is the new landmark in the Berlin skyline. The building will be served by 14 lifts, including eight innovative double-deck lifts from KONE. These KONE double-deck lifts, the first of their kind in the DACH region, will reach a speed of 21.6 km/h - taking 20.6 seconds to reach the roof from the ground floor.

The innovative and open architecture, designed by world-renowned Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), combines contemporary urban needs with natural elements to create airy spaces that are inviting and energising for visitors and pedestrians. EDGE East Side is part of a new wave of smart, healthy buildings that embrace the idea that offices should not only perform a function, but also be part of the communities that surround them.
