AWAKE LIPO WITH SKIN REMOVAL
I try to perform skin removal as a separate procedure from liposuction since it allows the maximum skin retraction prior to skin removal. This patient has two separate sessions of awake liposuction with a total of 7.25L of fat removed first from her front thighs (4.45L total) then her backs of her thighs (2.8L total) roughly 3 months apart.
She had excess skin of the inner thighs that we removed and were able to get a snug but not tight closure that should heal as a fine line incision since there should be no further skin retraction after this procedure.
