Working with mathematical word problems help to stretch students to think in different ways. How to teach math to esl teens involves thinking about the types of strategies that enables students to break down a math problem and be able to break it down in an effective way. How to teach math word problems to esl students is a process that also involves modeling metacognitive skills so that students will know how to think about math. Math teaching strategies for middle school and high school will help students to refer to different ways to tackle a math word problem.
