A Greek Orthodox family in northern Israel believes it has witnessed a miracle in its living room because a statue of the Virgin Mary it bought last year appears to shed tears. Thousands of people, among them Muslims, Christians and Jews, have come to visit the statue to take pictures with it, pray near it or sing hymns. Parts of the statue appear to be slick with moisture and sometimes a tear seems to roll down the Virgin Mary's cheek.
