Former Transnet Freight CEO Siyabonga Gama has testified at the State Capture Inquiry that he did not lobby any cabinet minister to reinstate him at the state-owned enterprise.
He also said he was not aware that he had won favour with then-President Jacob Zuma who allegedly declared him as his preferred candidate for the Transnet Freight CEO position.
It is alleged Zuma insisted on Gama's re-appointment even though he was facing charges of misconduct.
