In this video, let’s check out the newly opened Punggol Coast MRT station (NE18), the last station of the end of North East line after Punggol station (NE17), to be opened Punggol Coast Mall next to it & Digital District buildings and HDB BTO housings almost completion, plus Maxim Tam Chiak Kopitiam 5 mins walk away and Coney Island, West Entrance, now just 10 minutes walk along Punggol Way Road.

The Punggol Coast MRT station opened to the public on December 10, 2024 at 3 PM. It's located in the Punggol Digital District (PDD) on the North East Line (NEL).

The station's opening was originally announced in 2013, but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It took four years to design and six years to build.

The Punggol Coast MRT station serves the following areas: JTC Business Park, Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) Punggol campus, and Punggol Coast Mall.

The station is also close to the Punggol Coast bus interchange, which offers bus connections. The station's sustainable features include LED lighting systems and lifts with sleep mode, which are estimated to reduce carbon emissions by around 1,000 tonnes each year.

Punggol Coast station is the terminus of the NEL with an official station code of NE18.

The station will also serve Punggol Coast Bus Interchange and surrounding residential areas, and is set to have 1212 bicycle parking spaces.

The station's design features columns inspired by mangroves, with each of the 11 large concourse columns extending into beams that mimic mangrove roots. Pendant lights and lofty ceilings contribute to a cathedral-like ambience for commuters. Integrated with the PDD, the station also utilizes the district's cooling system.
