Ripped your U.FL connector off and don’t want to buy another receiver? Here I Repair TBS Crossfire Micro Receiver when the U.FL connector breaks off. Yes it did work!
The hardest part is exposing the center core of the antenna. Wire strippers don’t work. You have to peel the shielding back with your fingers. The center pad where the pin from the U.FL contacts is the signal pad, solder the center core to that. The two outside pads are ground pads and solder to the shielding. Don’t bridge the ground and signal pads and it will work fine. Do a range test before flight to be sure you’re not going to have a problem with drop outs. Thank you for watching!
