The TVS Jupiter Classic comes drenched in a sunlit ivory body colour and sports a long array of features including the Special “Classic” Decals, retro-styled windshield and premium quality dual tone seats. The chrome enveloped, round shaped mirrors and the eye-catching chrome backrest of the new scooter hit the right note of retro styling. The Jupiter Classic draws dynamism from an all-aluminum, low friction 110cc air cooled, 4-stroke single cylinder engine that produces 7.89bhp @ 7500rpm and a peak torque of 8Nm @ 5500rpm. This mill mates with the seamless automatic drive unit, which is the same as its siblings. The new scooter also gets TVS patented Econometer, which can be used to switch between the efficient ‘Eco Mode’ and athletic ‘Power Mode’. The front disc brake unit in coordination with the rear drum brakes offers prompt braking performance to the scooter. TVS has paid special attention to the ride quality of the scooter, thus integrating it with the Sync Braking System and a reliable suspension assembly. The TVS Jupiter Classic Edition comes at a price of Rs 62,022 (On road, Delhi) and competes against the likes of Honda Activa 4G, Hero Maestro Edge, and Yamaha Alpha.
