From the very first episode of Emu's All Live Pink Windmill Show, broadcast on Friday, 13th July, 1984, this is a rendition of Can't Stop the Music, originally by the Village People. Not bad at all, especially considering this was the first time most if not all of them had ever danced on live national television (the bits in the studio, obviously). Being the series opener, the kids introduce themselves at the beginning:
Catrina Hylton-Hull
Hugh Harper
Sarah Jeffs
Emma Whitlock
Joe Greco
Spencer Roberts
Lorraine Plummer
Anthony Hosier
Debbie Harper
Abbie Shilling

And to clear up another handful of things: the show is British (not Australian), it was a Central production for ITV (nothing to do with the BBC), and Catrina (with a C) is the daughter of Rod's second wife, making him her step-father (not father).
Many thanks to Louise for lending me this tape, and apologies for the glitch right at the end.
(Please remember that this is an old VHS recording, so don't go expecting 1080p HD quality. I'm fairly certain that this video isn't commercially available, and I've uploaded it for its historic interest only. That said, if you are a copyright holder and object, please don't hesitate to contact me.)
