Our first day and first stop in Gold Coast is Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.
Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary has plenty of parking, and we were able to easily purchase our tickets. The kids enjoyed their encounter with the animals, especially the kangaroo, which was their first time seeing them. The sanctuary is stunningly beautiful and vast, with numerous activities and exploration opportunities. The tree top challenge is a must if you have older kids.
We wished we had more time to stay for the lorikeet feeding, but we were exhausted because Australia is three hours later than Auckland. You may purchase your favourite stuffed animal toys in their gift shops (they have plenty), and the food in their cafes is warm and delicious! This place has so much to offer that you could spend the entire day here!
