Meet Ed. Ed drives a million dollar car at 220 miles per hour for a living. As an owner of a racing team, a driver, a husband, and a father, there is a special insight and perspective that develops between a driver, fellow drivers, and crews. In this talk, Ed distills a wild combination of extraordinary experiences into a single focal moment of understanding what is important and what role priorities play as speed and intensity increase. Only one individual in the NTT IndyCar Series handles both the responsibility of driving a racecar and owning a team: Ed Carpenter. Vastly experienced, 2020 will be Carpenter’s 18th season. The 38-year-old now competes exclusively in the oval events and has 22 Top 10s since starting his team. A hometown favorite, the Butler graduate has started on the front row of the Indianapolis 500 five of the past seven years. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at [ Ссылка ]
