The Riverland region across South Australia is under flood warnings.
Flood levels are expected to peak within the next 48 to 72 hours.
There has been welcome news for Renmark, as new modelling shows that the peak may be lower than anticipated, with an estimated flow of 190 gigalitres per day.
“We are as better prepared as we’ve been for any other circumstance like this in the state’s history,” South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas said.
