Update 11/2023
The chestnut cracker broke after the first year of use. The hinge couldn't handle the pressure from all the chestnuts. Unfortunately, it's made from a weak type of metal that can't withstand long-term chestnut-chopping use. I loved it at the time but it simply needs to be stronger and last longer.
