On the morning of the opening round for this years Masters, I took a trip out to Oak Quarry Golf Course in Riverside, for a round with some fellow members of the RACDG LowCal Roost. It was the grand finale of our year long match play, and your boy was one of the participants.
This course, from the outset, seemed like a great match play venue. Various risk/reward shots and strategic engagement on the short par 4's had my attention early. Then you throw in the dramatic elevation changes and expansive green complexes, things escalate very quickly!
