Went shopping at Flipside again. You didn't really think I could resist a Gretsch with tiger bat inlays did you? They had Sam do a set up and it was well packed! It arrived quickly, was pristine, and was ready to go right out of the box! I love it! Tested the normal Gretsch tones and they were all there!
Then I remembered to turn the camera on to see if it doomed and could do some nice metal. I say yessir it does! 🤘😊🤘 (It is hot in here already and the lights raised the temp so short demo, sorry about that.)
(Okay so it is ages later, check out my newer vids featuring this guitar to hear an even wider array of tones you can get from this beast! I love it even more!!!)
Killer tone and playability like my Gretsch G5236, but the Filter'Trons in this have a bit different of a tone than the minibuckers. More control in the middle setting as well with the 3 volume controls. Only downside is the pictures and descriptions everywhere of this say the pickups have a gold colored insert, looks more like aged ivory color to me, but I still love it!

If you want 50 cents worth of candy over killer service and an instrument ready to go out of the box have at it. I prefer to support a small shop that cares about their customers!
