A large site set in the grounds of a 17th century château and boasting a host of facilities for all ages. In addition to an impressive pool complex, there’s a wellness spa, fishing pond and kids’ club while the friendly staff can also organise canoe trips, excursions to local châteaux and gardens, and wine tastings. Many of the Loire’s renowned châteaux are nearby, as are extensive vineyards. Blois is an interesting town in which to spend a day, with its historical buildings, Musée de la Resistance and Museum of Magic all worthy of discovery.
