With the rupee value continuing its downward spiral, prices of petrol and diesel across the country continued to rise and reached fresh highs. While the BJP on Twitter claimed that fuel price rise during its regime was much lower than during the UPA regime, the Congress released a new graph comparing retail price of petrol and the corresponding crude oil price during its regime against the present price of petrol and international crude oil price. Ravish Kumar asks whether the BJP government can afford to blame international oil prices for the rising fuel prices when it attacked the then government over fuel price rise when it was in opposition. Do rules of fuel prices change according to whether a political party is ruling or in the opposition? (Audio in Hindi)
