It has been several months since I showed any progress on my 2003 Subaru WRX Wagon. I have made some pretty serious progress and in this video I give a full update on what I have done.
I am getting close to being able to fire this car up and get it on the road! New fuel lines are something this wagon desperately needed so in this video I tackle just that! I decided to build new equal length fuel lines with -6AN PTFE braided nylon hose and fittings. I have never used PTFE hose and so I give a full walkthrough of my experience using this material.
If you missed the previous videos about this car then let me get you up to speed. The goal for this project is to do a budget friendly performance build. A car that is a comfortable daily but can also be tracked. My budget is $10k all said and done. I spent $1,500 on the car so we still have some funds to play with.
Although I do think this will be challenging, especially because I'm never willing to put cheap parts on my cars, I still think it's doable. My main goal for this is to inspire the average person that doesn't think it's financially possible to build a fun project car.
Link below to the previous video where I talk more in depth about my plans for this project.
