INGREDIENTS
- 5 large apples (choose crisp varieties: Honeycrisp, Granny Smith, Pink Lady)
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger

INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 225 degrees.
Use a corer to remove the apple core from each apple. Thinly slice the apples with a mandolin or sharp knife to 1/8” thick. Lay the apple slices on parchment-lined baking sheets evenly, making sure the slices do not overlap.
For apple pie spiced apples, in a small bowl combine the cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and ginger. Stir to evenly combine. Sprinkle apple slices with the spice mixture.
Place in the preheated oven until dried and slightly soft, 2-3 hours. Remove from oven and cool. As they cool they will become crisp. Place in an airtight container and enjoy.

If it’s humid when making these, they will soften when stored. They
can be crisped back up by placing in a 200-degree oven for 10 minutes.
