The bluebell railway held their yearly giants of steam gala over the weekend of the 14th,15,16th October 2022.
This year the theme was British railway standard locomotives.
The stars of the show were the great central railways standard class 5mt no73156 and the mid hants railways standard class 4mt no76017.
Joining the two visiting locomotives were 3 members of the home fleet.
Home fleet locos were:- Standard class 4mt no80151, Standard class 5mt no73082 camelot and Sr maunsell Q class no30541 (Saturday and Sunday only)
The Q class ran on a goods train on Saturday and on Sunday it ran with 73156.
As always A great event by the bluebell railway and it was very busy!
