Bhog is a prasad that is common during Durga puja. Bhog mainly comprises of khichuri, labra sabzi(mixed vegetable fry), beguni or begun bhaja, payesh etc.
In this video, I have prepared complete bhog platter that you all can try during this festive season. Needless to say, the recipe is completely vegetarian without use of onion or garlic.

Khichdi

Ingredients:

1 Bowl Joha or Gobindo Bhog Rice
1 Bowl Moong Dal
2 Tbsp Ghee
1 Inch Ginger (Grated)
1 tsp Panch Phoron
1 tsp Turmeric (Haldhi) Powder
2 Dry Red Chilly
1 Bay Leaf
2 Big Potato - Cut into pieces
Salt To Taste
2 tbsp Cooking Oil Preferably Mustard Oil

Labda:

Ingredients:

1 Bowl Cabbage, chopped
1 Big Brinjal - Cut into pieces
1 Kosu (Taro) - Cut into pieces
2 Radish - Cut into pieces
4-5 parwal (Potol or pointed gourds) - Cut into pieces
1 bowl Borboti (yard-long beans) - Cut into pieces
1 bowl cubed Pumpkin
2 Potatoes - Cut into pieces
1 tsp Paanch Phoron
1 tsp Cumin powder
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
1/2 tsp Sugar
4-5 Green Chillies
2 Dry Red Chilly
3 Bay Leaf
1 Inch Ginger - grated
4 Tbsp Mustard Oil
Salt To Taste

Bengan Fry:

Ingredients:

1 big brinjal - cut into slices
1 Tbsp Turmeric Powder
Salt To Taste
3 Tbsp Mustard Oil
1/2 tsp Sugar

Payas (Kheer):

Ingredients:

1.5 litre Milk
50 gm Rice (Joha or Gobindobhog)
4 Tbsp Sugar
10 Cashews
20 Raisins
3 Elaichi
2 Bay Leaf
