FTP is the most used measure for a cyclists fitness, but how can that cover stamina, recovery, power and all the other factors? It can't really, which is where the 4DP test comes into play. By doing the Full Frontal test in the Sufferfest app, you get given a 4 Diminsion Power profile, which can then give you prescriptive training plans to work on your weaker areas.
The areas you get scored on are -
Neuromuscular
Anaerobic
Maximal Aerobic
Functional Threshold
Once you have a score for each of these, the Sufferfest app will determine what type of cyclist you are, Sprinter, Attacker, Pursuiter, TT, Climber, All-rounder.
I watched a few videos on the Full Frontal test and they all make it out to be BRUTAL! Can it be that bad? Let's find out!
