In this video AJ Adkins travels to Coldwater to run the Dawn Pluribus Unit side by side with the YETTER CC. We ran in a field that was wheat, then double crop beans so there was plenty of residue out there. We both had a few different options setup on various rows. The CC had 2 rows with mole knives, the pluribus had a couple different finishing options to control the clod size for fall vs. spring use. Both units had adjustable depth and full adjustable row cleaners and basket. The Pluribus is a much heavier unit mainly because it is designed to go 6” deep where the CC is designed to see up to 4”. Overall it was a fun day and hopefully this video can give viewers confidence and information to take the next step in strip till.
