Simple and quick instructions on how to replace the battery on a BMW equipped with comfort access.
Contrary to popular opinion comfort access keys do NOT charge inductively. If you see an onscreen error stating "Remote Battery Discharge", it's time to replace the battery.
Note that in some cases you may need to place the remote in the ignition the first time after replacing the battery to reset it.
