Georgia joined two NATO member states in launching a three-week long military drill named "Noble Partner 2016" at the Vaziani base near its capital Tbilisi on Wednesday.
About 500 Georgian, 150 UK and 650 U.S. service members take part in the exercise.
"These drills represent continuation of the right policy that we pursue towards NATO," Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili said in a speech at the opening ceremony of the exercises at Vaziani base.
