Full Recipe:

Recipe type: #Dessert
1 cup milk powder
2 tsp Tuntuni Raa Ghor ghee
½ cup liquid milk
2 tbsp semolina or suji and add 2 tbsp hot milk and keep 10-15 minutes)
1 tsp Baking soda
Ghee / oil for deep frying
2 tsp chopped fried Almond & Cashew
For sugar syrup
1 cups Sugar
1 ½ cup water
2 green cardamom
1 tsp rose water
How to make the recipe
1. Mix water, sugar and cardamoms. Boil the syrup until it turns slightly sticky. Stirring consistency. Add rose water and mix. Set aside to keep it hot.
2. Mix together semolina/suji, milk powder, ghee and soda with warm liquid milk and make a dough. The dough turns sticky. Grease your fingers and make a ball. The dough must not soggy.
3. Grease your fingers and make a ball and put some fried nuts in to the every ball. The dough must not soggy. It must hold the shape well.
4. Make 10 to 12 equal sized balls and heat up the pan with ghee or oil
5. When the ghee is just medium hot, add the balls. Make sure the oil is not very hot else the gulab jamuns will brown without cooking well. To check the right temp, you can drop a small piece
6. Fry the balls until golden stirring uniformly.
7. Add them to the hot syrup and boil 05-06 with low flame. Allow them to rest for 02-03 hour’s and serve.
