As we approach the first day of spring, I would like to wish a happy Nowruz, or Persian New Year, to all in the community who celebrate. Meaning “new day,” Nowruz marks the optimism that comes with the arrival of spring. It’s a time to come together with friends and family, share meals, and celebrate with rituals, ceremonies, and events.
To celebrate the Persian New Year on campus there are plenty of activities being planned by the Iranian Student Association and the Cross Cultural Center.
