the Central Bank of Nigeria is insisting there is no going back on the February 10, 2023 deadline for swapping of the old naira notes.
Governor of the bank, Godwin Emefiele said the date remains sacrosanct notwithstanding the controversy over the deadline and the Supreme Court interim order restraining the bank from implementing the time limit.
Mr Emefiele at a meeting with members of the diplomatic corps in Abuja on Tuesday said the benefits are enormous and will lead to a cashless policy.
