2023 male is unringed and so far unnamed, therefore "URM". He looks remarkably like Asha, difficult for ID-ing at times.

2023 AXEL HAS NOT RETURNED - he'd been Asha's partner since we first met them in 2020. They started nestorising in 2021 but got scared off in May by unknown intrusions, but then in 2022 they raised 2 chicks to fledging but one died of salmonella poisoning.

RIP "Axel", Blue AX6(16) male (yes, he does have strong chest markings), a single chick (possibly from 3 eggs) hatched Glen Affric, near Beauly, seen Lossiemouth 2020, then at LG in 2021
