Overview:Turner (Halle Berry) is a 911 operator who receives a call from a young girl claiming that a stranger has broken into her home. Turner tells her to hide, but when the call is suddenly disconnected, Turner anxiously calls back, revealing the girl's hiding place and killing her by the intruder. From then on, Turner was plunged into an abyss of guilt and could no longer work as an operator. Six months later, Turner became an operator tutor. On this day, a rookie receives a call reporting that the girl on the other end, Casey (Abigail Breslin), is trapped in the trunk of a car by her kidnappers in critical condition. After some sleuthing, Turner surprisingly realizes that the thugs are the ones who killed the little girl back then, and out of indignation and atonement, she immediately resolves to apprehend the thugs herself. A thrilling phone search is about to begin, but to the surprise of all is that a hidden secret for many years is also gradually surfaced!
