A three-year-old boy born with a rare condition that forces his intestines through a hole in his abdomen should make a full recovery after a five-organ transplant, doctors have said.
Adonis Ortiz received a new liver, pancreas, stomach and small and large intestines during the surgery at Miami's Jackson Memorial Hospital.
