There are multiple different causes of the constantly dripping nose. that we can work through. A typical cause is vasomotor rhinitis which becomes more common with age. Vasomotor rhinitis is a discoordination of the nerves in the nose that causes nasal drippage often exacerbated by eating or temperature changes. Work ups can confirm the root cause and when a patient decides they want it treated there are several medications that work and newer procedures that freeze the problematic nerves in the nose.
