In this video we went to Marathon, Florida in the beautiful Florida Keys. We attended the Florida Keys Celtic Festival. Have Irish heritage ourselves we were intrigued to see traditional Irish customs and activities. Walking in we were greeted and informed of all the events that were going on that day. First, we watched Craigmalloch Border Collies show off their skills and love of traditional sheep herding. Next, we visited the vendors and exhibits and clans. After that we made our way to the 42nd Royal Highland Regiment of Foot. Here they portrayed the regiments camp life and activities as it was during Florida's British period of 1763 to 1783. Then we enjoyed the live music and Drake Irish Dancers. They also had Highland games going on. Man, those women are strong. A fun time was had by all, and we would highly recommend for everyone to attend if they are in the area during January. This is The Florida Keys Living with Keys Kids Adventures.
