Rosman Ahmad said he was shocked to see his daughter's blood covered body upon arriving at the scene after being alerted to what happened by his eldest son.
Rosman's daughter and her three-month-old baby boy were murdered in a house in Kampung Bakar Batu at about 12.30pm on Monday.
Rosman, 58, said his daughter and her husband were to hold a wedding reception on July 24 after getting married last year.
Rosman said he had never heard his daughter and son-in-law arguing, with the suspect always respectful of his elders.
