In this Global Network Webinar, Matthias Reister, Chief of the Development Data Section of the United Nations Statistics Division, presented on a roadmap for the implementation of the National Quality Assurance Framework (NQAF). In recent years many countries have developed and adopted a National Quality Assurance Framework (NQAF) for their official statistics. In order to support countries in the implementation, the Expert Group on National Quality Assurance Frameworks developed a Roadmap for NQAF implementation. The "Roadmap" summarizes good implementation practices in the form of a step-by-step process. The webinar provided a basic introduction to quality assurance for official statistics.
