'One Song Show'
Many Weathers Apart was originally released in the UK Feb' 1998 on a limited run of 1000 numbered 7"s which sold out immediately. First championed by Mary Anne Hobbs on her Radio 1 Breezeblock show and then by a diverse bunch of London scenesters such as Jarvis Cocker, Boy George, Orbital & Trevor Jackson.
The track was then re-released by Epic Records in 1999. And went on to chart in the UK at 42. The CD release included two remixes by Francois K and was a favourite of the Pete Tong Essential Selection on Radio 1.
The show is a 45 minute arrangement of the song featuring a 3 piece band: UK's Conrad Lambert, New York multi-instrumentalist Shahzad Ismaily and Bern drummer Julian Sartorius.
