Atros aka Atrocitus was the lone survivor of the Sector 666 incident. He ended up making his own Lantern Corps made out of his own wrath when he found out he had lost his wife and child in a war on his home planet. It was conquered, and he sought out revenge against their murderers and showed them fury that they hadn't ever seen before. With the ability to fire out napalm blood, forge any construct by channeling their rage, fly, and quite possibly overpower many Lantern Corps except for the Blue Lantern Corps, the Red Lanterns are a force to be reckoned with. He's my favorite Lantern related character due to his attitude, powers, and the fact that he always has Dex-Starr, the pissed off pussy cat, by his side. He's his right-hand man or cat. There is one huge drawback to being a Red Lantern however, and that is if your ring ever falls off after you've put it on, you'll die an agonizing death. Also, if you become a new member of the Corps, you will be overcome with immense bloodlust, rage, and insanity until you are bathed in blood. They also have my favorite Lantern chant! Say it with me! With blood and rage of crimson red, ripped from a corpse so freshly dead, together with our hellish hate, we'll burn you all! That is your fate!"
